Since 2002, LHI has fulfilled a number of contracts with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through our Atlanta-based location. Initial CDC contracts that were procured were substantial, and supported the CDC Clinician Information Line and various vaccination programs. Since then, LHI’s Atlanta location has migrated toward Public Health staffing, a significant need for the CDC, including positions such as Epidemiologists, Microbiologists and Health Scientists.
Today the Atlanta Office has employees working with a variety of centers, including the Division of Health Quality and Promotion; Division of Bacterial Diseases; Division of Global Migration and Quarantine and the CDC Office of the Director.
